Iveco light switch soldered which works now Struggled to see to do it, needed three hands with magnifying glass.
Starting on the leak and other bits on the master now. Need to sort out a diagnostic tool though.

Split a sidewall on an ATR whilst laning in my D4 just before Christmas. Fortunately I had a brand new spare bought at the same time mounted on a D3 wheel.
Ordered a replacement, the web site says 11 in stock, on Dec 27; from 123tyres. I still have my original space saver but that not a lot of use when laning.
Today, still no sign of the tyre, so email 123. Reply, we are out of stock.
Have tried, it seems no-one has any ATRs
OK, consider the option of getting a pair of AT plus, so I ring Pirelli to see what they say about mixing 2 ATRs and 2 ATplus.
“I’m sorry sir but we couldn’t recommend you do that. You need to have four tyres the same on a 4WD vehicle”
They did say that they might make some new ATRs at some time in the next few months.
Gasp. Essentially they are saying buy five new tyres!
As an additional observation, after 17k miles my front ATRs are down to 4.5mm. Basically they are coming to their end as a off road tyre. Maybe the LR marked tyres are softer? But what about these tales of 30 or 40k miles from ATRs?D4 2010 Nara Bronze

Finally got to use the D3 today.
I had a cross country trip of about 100 km in the rain. Some of which was on very small and muddy back roads. Mud from the farmers.
I have to say I am surprised they only have an E rating in the wet. I tried to make them misbehave by slamming the brakes on along the straights and in bends. I felt they were really good and confidence inspiring. This was not a high speed test at best I was doing 100 kph and I haven't been off road.
So far so good though. An honorable defeat is better than a dishonorable victory.” ― Millard Fillmore
