Discovery 4 facelift xenon headlights
Are these a lot better as am looking at doing the front on my d4 have the grill and that but not headlights but the cheapest I can find for second hand ones is 800 is that the going rate or a bit over priced seems a lot to me for second hand lights

Not sure the xenons are much better. They are pants, esp cf my D3’s xenons, especially on high beam. Good for lighting up the overhead trees only.
And without the bangin toonz
Maybe upgraded halogen bulbs would be the best, and cheapest, solution?

2013 on = poor xenon full beam, no cornering lamps, no high beam driving lights, but they do look pretty in the daytime 8)It can when others can't,

I've just gone from 2013 Xenons to post 2014 Xenons just for the signature strips, as we do far more driving during the day
If you want high quality light go for the pre-face lift Xenon lights as they have 2 light sources within the headlight, one for dipped and one for main beam. The face lift lights are one source with a flap that opens for full beam. I have to admit I was really disappointed with the light output considering they're supposed to be more modern 2013 Discovery 4 HSE Lux | 2001 Defender 90 TD5 | 2007 Prodrive RB320

yes that really simple with the Halogen bulbs - but not strictly legal if you go down the retrofitted HID route
It's a total pain with Xenon and very expensive, so spot lights are probably a better option if you really want high light output
My point was more don't switch from older lights to the newer ones and expect them to be better 2013 Discovery 4 HSE Lux | 2001 Defender 90 TD5 | 2007 Prodrive RB320
