Help with fault codes
The engine management light is coming on in a friends D3. She’s had the fault codes read. I suspect I know the problem, but any help would be appreciated.

Mine were blanked when I bought the Discovery and the only 2 codes I have are
P0405-00 (2F) Exhaust gas recirculation sensor A - circuit low •
P140A-00 (2F) Exhaust gas recirculation sensor C - circuit low •
my EGR's were also blanked when I got it - being a 2007 it had the EGR's written out in software but I still get the following 2 codes that come back after clearing so I'm not sure it was done very well -
• P045D-00 (6C ) Exhaust gas recirculation B control circuit - High
• P0489-00 (68 ) Exhaust gas recirculation control - circuit low
I've not done anything about it as it runs fine but am starting to wonder if it's causing the poor fuel consumption.......Pete
