Shudder (cattle grid) fault code U0421 ride control module |
|
Hi all,
Driving down the freeway @ 110KMH (70MPH)this afternoon and suddenly really bad vibration like a cattle grid, though at first puncture or even worse transmission breaking up. Stopped immediately, checked for punctures AOK. Started car drove home no faults appeared on instrument cluster and no shudder.
Got home plugged in Nanocom got Compressor exhaust valve permanent and also CODE:U0421
Invalid data received from ride level control module (PENDING) when checking the live readings reservoir valve is @ 100
When I select off road and then go straight to access I get the fault "normal programs.. blah blah..) rest faults and get the same faults appear wehn changing the height settings.
Not sure if the two are related, ironically swapped the compressor on my D3 for an AMK yesterday and kept the old one so I have a spare after changing silica gel and checking exhaust valve, do not want to fit it until the "brains" on this forum give me your views...
Look forward to hearing from you Guy's... Owning a Discovery 3 is like dating a model.. a firm body and shape, wow.. the ride is fantastic > for this your wallet can take a pounding and you worry about being deflated at any time...
