The opposite for me as the LPG brings on the EML although with CoD it is now the amber hand brake light.Series 1 V8

by the sounds of it, i’m pleased i kept my EGR pipes
still even when fitted there hidden behind the engine cover and am i right in saying the mot tester can’t remove any covers plse

You can easily see the egr blanks if the pipes have been removed, even without removing the engine cover.
One of the reasons why I always use shims at the bottom of the pipes so the pipes stay visible.Bodsys Brake Bible
Current proposal doesn't have any impact on EU4 and earlier.
Except if the Engine Managment light is on, it will now be a fail.
Fair point. That's going to nail a lot of folk; I can see ebay will be awash with bargains being sold by folk who don't have a clue who've been to garages run by other folk who don't have a clue. Anyone with a halfway decent knowledge of diagnostics is going to be rubbing their hands together
