I've had a Nespresso machine for years, but got one of the cheapest ones in this offer (that only cost about £90 if bought) for use in the tintent and if we have lots of guests (ie using 2 in tandem).
IMO the only reason not to take up the offer would be if you can get capsules of good coffee elsewhere at significantly less than the Nespresso prices. I've tried loads and most are not as good. The ones that are as good (eg Marks') only save a few pennies anyway.
+1
I pay £7.50 pm for my Sony Xperia mobile but know people spend £45pm to have the latest iPhone or galaxy - I'd rather have a new coffee machine and free coffee for up to 3 years Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

I got a couple of these in a similar cheap offer a couple of years back. Repeated dishwasher use has stripped all the nice external colour off, they're just plain SS now.
Ah, the colour has evolved during your ownership. It is a feature rather than a fault.

Subsription cost = £540(1 year)
Cost per pod about £0.33p = 1636 pods in 3 years.
Deduct £250 (price of large machine)
£290 divided into 1636 =£0.17.7 per pod
Certainly better than the misses buying you one for crimbo

I still think it's easier to think of it as a machine for £1 if you're buying the pods anyway. Only risks are if you stop drinking coffee or they hike the price up massively. My way of thinking anyway.
And lovin the new machine. Bit sad seeing the old one in storage beside the bags of dog food but hey ho, it's an imperfect world.

I'll be unboxing mine tonight, but ASAIK the clean button runs steam through the nozzle, removing any milk residue.MY16 D4 Graphite in Loire Blue

Have you found the extra nozzle behind the bottom right hand fold down flap?
