Delivered this afternoon.

Although when I heard a van pulling up (whilst soaking my weary bones in the tub) I had hoped it was the Wine Soc order being delivered.

DSL - you will have to hope that the caffeine overdose keeps you going until the alcohol arrives
very temped to get the same machine as youWhen you are dead, you do not know you are dead. All of the pain is felt by others. The same thing happens when you are stupid.

I went for same as DSL and it looks better in kitchen than our white Innisia as we have a silver Smeg cooker - coffee tastes better too - more crème than the Innisia I think Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Just had the first coffee in new machine, and very nice it was too. Bit sad to see the old red Krupp machine, that has served without any issues for a good few years, go into storage beside the bags of dog food, but new fancy tech wins out. Especially at £1. Well £-4 as there was £5 worth of coffee capsules in there.

Went for the same machine - had a couple of great coffees so far, bilirubin reckon the milk frother may become a time pain in time although supposed to be all dish-washable -time will tell, although if an issue the microwave and battery frother will resolve that potential problem

I've got a 3-4 year old Pixie. It works well, but I am very tempted by the option of upgrading to the Lattissima Touch. Do you think the newer machines actually make better coffee? If so, is that because the machines have improved or the older machines are a bit worn out (do they even wear out?)
Cheers

My inissia is 3 years old and still makes perfect coffee so I wasn't planning to change it but I went for the touch because it offers more choice of coffees and I'm paying for the coffee anyway so a new better machine free makes sense
I think the touch is adding more creme to the coffee which makes it smoother imho but not sure if that's because I've never descaled the inissia or because it's a better machineWanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

I did the same, my Lattissima Touch is due in the next few days. Like others, I would have spent £540 on Nespresso pods over 3 years anyway so this is great value unless they have something up their sleeve such as a price hike or loss of their patents.
Only problem is what all that extra milky goodness might to the human temple...MY16 D4 Graphite in Loire Blue

And it gets better!! Just ordered 150 capsules (incl 30 of the new Lungo Envivo) and you get a pair of these bad boy cups free. £21 at list price. https://www.nespresso.com/uk/en/order/acce...-envivo#f= Delivery is free and it uses it the £45 credit I'd put in so only taking £5 from the CC.

Any of anyone dithering on doing the machine for £1 malarkie, that offer is limited to 1,000 machines. Now how's that for ramping up the pressure. And no, I'm not really George Clooney.

And it arrived 30 minutes ago. 12 South Australian, 12 South American and 12 from the good old USofA.

Exactly the same as you'd pay if just buying on their own, I work on 33p per capsule as an average, some are more expensive, a few less. But with the £1 for the machine offer you pay the standard rates.

I got it via email & clicked the link in the email, can't get it to work again as prob one offer per registered user. Try just adding to basket & see what happens at next stage.
