This shows the difference between, the locking diff is a slightly larger item, with the actuator attached.

Just a quick update.
I had the EPB all cleaned out and adjusted at my local Indy, so far so good no issues. I will update if anything occurs!
Thanks

When you say EPB cleaned out do you mean the brake from or the box of tricks that control the EPB please?

So I had the shoes adjusted and all the brakes cleaned, also had the rear brakes replaced. All has been ok for a couple of months. Although we had the same problem occur again twice. Both times we have been going over speed bumps in car parks.
Once you have gone over the bump and try to pull away the shudder and noise start again.
Any ideas?? Thanks

I wonder if your wheel speed sensors need a clean, they are magnetic and
Get covered with anything that is ferrous.
Just wonder if TC etc is picking up different wheel
Speeds and trying to apply braking.
They are pretty easy to access after you remove the wheel.
I had a similar issues in a ford passenger car

Hi, I have thought about the wheel speed sensors, although yesterday I had it connected to a ecu fault code reader, took the car for a good run in back roads etc trying to get the vibration again. I managed to get the symptoms re occur although nothing has shown up on the ecu.
Would I expect to see some fault code if the sensors were picking up a fault?
Cheers

Did you ever resolve this, I have exactly the same issue it's identical in every way even down to speed bumps, mines going in to the local indie in a weeks time, so will keep you updated, mine has got the rear locking diff but reading your info I can hopefully rule this out
