Last February I paid about £1,150 at my local main dealer, for the 7 year service, the belt change and an MOT, with no additional extra work being needed (although several advisories on the MOT).Andy

I assume you have the LR extended warranty with it being a 2010 motor?
So long as West 4x4 use LR Genuine parts, stick to the service requirements and are VAT registered then my understanding is it won't be affected
Be interesting to see how much more the main dealers will be....

I've had my 7 year with belts done by Lookers in West London and they said NO need for oil or water pump change.

Had mine done just before i got it from the supplying dealer as part of the deal in november. Was only at 59000miles but only a month off being 7 years old. the sales guy at dealers tried telling me that D4s had belts done only at 112000 miles, so when i told him it was 112000 OR 7 years-whichever comes first he was gutted that i knew
Bet he would have been more keen to sell me a big belt service if they weren't paying for it
Told me cost was around £1700 as it needed new tyres all round, new front pads and new discs and pads on the rear
