I've had my 7 year with belts done by Lookers in West London and they said NO need for oil or water pump change.
Can you remember how much? They are not that far from me. Although I normally use Conrico or Guava.
Will have to call around to get a few quotes

I've used West 4X4 too so no issues going back but it was for maintenance work due to wear and tear and therefore not covered under the extended warranty that I have.
I just want to make sure that I am still covered if anything goes wrong after having it done by Mark.
I have emailed my contact at the dealers to see what he says on price and I have also asked the question regarding the warranty cover.

I signed up to the 3 year service plan which was about £2600, but the breakdown was £895 for belts and £544 for service.
I know this is more than most but in West London it is hard to find anybody else, there are no good indies really. I need my car everyday and they gave me a loan car too.
I also wanted a garage to do the belts who knew what they were doing. The service was ok, the did keep the car for 3 days but I had a loan car so it did not matter.
I would say they spend too much time calling you sir rather than just getting on with the job, I had to chase them many times to get the car back and I got it about 7.00pm on the Friday night.
They also left a connector unplugged on the radiator that brought on an engine warning light that my local garage had to sort which to be honest is pretty poor.
But all things aside they were ok and I've now paid for my next 2 years servicing so all good and will have main dealer history
I have used Hunters in Guildford before, they were nice, its just a bit too far from me and they were the same price.
Good luck with choice

west4x4
firstly thank you to all the nice comments
If the the car is under warranty we can still work on the it will not affect the warranty
how ever if the car is warranted by land rover then only a land rover franchise is authorised to repair a fault
covered by the warranty so if we discover a fault it would then need to be taken to a franchised dealer
and they will fix it
regards

Thanks Mark
Do you recommend any additional work being done along with the belts? eg oil pump or water pump or is this not needed for the D4?
Thanks
Nick

And the damage ? Got two years to save up albeit might end up at an approved rather than main dealer garage as I will be out of my LR warranty !
