I found some additional pictures of the bumper wiring (I think). Wanted to post them to help others. If this isn’t the correct wiring for the radar unit let me know I’ll delete the pics.

Dondiddy:
Further research shows using DPLA-9G768-AD as an example;
D. Year of manufacture of the unit, not the car, in hexadecimal, 1=2001 up to 9, A=2010, B=2011 and so on.
PLA. chassis model or type.
9G768. What the item, ecu is.
AD. Software type factory installed. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Hi there, Sorry if I wasn`t clear with what I said (or meant to say) I did know the year code and the software code and knew what was the vehicle code(but not the actual vehicles)the remaining numbers /letters refer to the ACC Ecu "family" which include Land Rover,Jaguar,Ford,Lincoln, and Volvo who all use similar ecu`s

Did you enquire at GAP about a reflash before buying it? - I am looking at a FoMoCo one that looks identical to the LR at 1/3 of the price. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Looks like it - 18 pins. Looks like it is broken though.
What colours are the wires? In today's world, if you contribute something, you don't contribute enough. If you contribute nothing, you receive everything.

No as It was Gap that told me the firmware issue when I sent them my ECU info when looking for help with the error messages I had. I knew that they could reflash the Jaguar ECU to work on a Land Rover. Ford owned Land Rover back then so it might be possible that a Ford Radar unit might work. Some of the Ford ones certainly look very similar to the Land Rover units.Might be worth contacting Gap to see what they say.

Question - if you fit a radar pack that needs reflashing by GAP will you get error codes if you don’t use ACC? I can potentially fit the radar pack soon but can’t do a reflash for a while. I’d prefer not to drive around and receive error messages.
Here’s another picture of the wiring.

You will get error codes but these will only be on your Gap tool so not an issue. You will lose cruise control until the reflash and you will get an error message (Cruise not available)on the dash,You can clear this message with your Ok button on your steering wheel so should not be too much of an issue I would hope.

OK, LR022117 switch pack and harness ordered, now just to find the right radar. I have contacted GAP to ask them their experience on radar units and which models might be suitable. I'm prepared to take a punt on a model other than a BH32 or DPLA as they seem to be much more money, but I guess there may be a reason for that...-------------------------------------------------------------------

What harness did you order with the RR switchpack? If it is for the steering wheel you just use what is there - a 10pin and a 4pin connector.
Have you checked you have the cable on the cross member as you have a 2015 would be interested to know as seems exclusive to the 2016 at the moment
EDIT - read your past post and you have fuse 7 - so probably do In today's world, if you contribute something, you don't contribute enough. If you contribute nothing, you receive everything.

I can't be bothered to take the front bumper off in this weather
My car was registered new on 1st Jan 2015 and has a late 2014 build date; I have Fuse 7 and it's marked as adaptive cruise on the key on the inside of the lid so I'm assuming my plug is there.
There are two harnesses listed for the steering wheel - one has an extra plug which I'm assuming is needed for the distance control switches. The harness with the extra plug is LR051624, I'm assuming that I have the 866A harness.

B is 2010
D is 2013
9G768 is type CC (not necessarily ACC As I understand)
Last two Letters are software type, AD seems to be one that is ok.
There are some FoMoCo radar units fitted to both Ford and Volvo that look identical on the outside Even the brackets and about 1/2 the price of JLR units, anything that The serial number starts with a number Is to old for a D4 it must start with a letter, A=2010 B = 2011 etc, the higher letter in the alphabet the newer the unit.
Please let us know what GAP reply is as I am in the same situation. I have a 2014 lux and I only have side of fuse 6 installed. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I've just watched the powerfuluk video on youtube for fitting paddles. The switchpack for dumb CC only has one black plug so I think that 866B IS required for ACC after all and the harness does therefore need updating.-------------------------------------------------------------------
