I think this should outline the proces involved in simple steps
Install the radar module and before that purchase fast track service from GAP for 30 quid, once all in connected on the car do the following:

-Start the car
-Connect the tool
-Menu--IIDTool Config--Find ECUs
-send the ECU Info to GAP

Once ECU info email is sent to GAP they would check it and grant acess to firmware containing the radar flash file so update your tool most possibly to:

--- ''Custom Build 2769''and Click on ''Program Firmware''

Once your IIDTool is flashed you can proceed with the following: (after making sure your battery is niceand fully charged at least 12.7-8 V I would suggest)

In your vehicle:
switch ingnition to position 1
IIDTool Menu -> ECU Flash -> CCM-Cruise Control

Once this is done (a few minutes of stress Wink) have a tea or carry on with:

CCF settings:
1/Speed control=Adaptive Speed control
2/Adaptive speed control ecu=Uk/rest of world
3/Adaptive speed control ecu =standard blockage level-40db
4/standard speed control display type= adaptive speed control full display plus priority messages
5/speed control =adaptive speed control
6/adaptive speed control indication in instrument cluster=enabled
7/speed control=adaptive speed control stop and go (this setting worked on mine)
8/forward collision warning =forward collision warning gen 1.

once everything has been applied and you cleared the faults and nothing is showing you can keep driving untill you have time to run the following:

IIDTool Menu -> Calibration -> CCM-Cruise Control -> Adaptive Align
Drive the car until the calib is done, it does take time. In most cases 15-45 min
Once calibration is done stop at tescos or something for min 30 min.

After shopping is done your ACC should be fully functional.

Need any help installing let me know more than happy to help as I live pretty close.

Good luck, I found removing the airbag the scariest bit but otherwise it was pretty straight forward. Great instructions above. The only thing I'd say is when you message GAP, just ask that all the options are opened up on the Tool. I think they do this as a norm but they forgot on mine so it had me stumped for a while trying to find all the settings.

you can easily install that switch pack

cruise will still work and only issues there would be electrical left switch pack fault while scanned with IIDTOool which would clear when all is programed in

Orright folks, here's where I got stuck - need some troubleshooting ideas.

I fit the FPLA variant radar to my 2015MY truck, and also installed new switchpack. Then sent the ECU Infos to Pat. Pat said everything good, on the right firmware, just need to change CCF. When i changed CCFs, i lost my Cruise Control (never went to calibration, instead saw an exclamation mark and warning that no Cruise Control). I reached out to Pat who suggested some alternate CCFs. I played around and made changes, but to no avail.

I finally went back to my old CCFs (hopefully all correctly), and got my dumb Cruise Control back, but I had two faults:
U0300-00 (AF) Internal Control module software incompatibility
U0300-55 (AF) Internal Control module software incompatibility - System programming failure - is not configured

Wondering if these are faults derived from new switchpack - i went back to old switchpack, dumb Cruise Control still works, these two faults are still there.

Any ideas?

Could it be i did not go back to correct CCFs? Could it be that my radar either does not work, or not on correct firmware (although Pat said it is)?

Have you flashed new radar module before doing CCF config? If it was flashed I would try flashing the thing again if faults persist I guess it might be at fault

In IIDTool have you used full list to modify your settings or default one?

also I had same error when my infotainment screen went for some reason - System programming failure - is not configured
took a bit of dismantling the car doing MOST bus troubleshooting to finally fix it

I did not flash the radar, per Pat's instruction. He just sent me another note confirming that there's no issue with the radar's firmware and the radar is not at fault here.

He's basically saying the CCF has to be correct. I tried going back to original CCF, but I'm not sure if i got it all right. Are you able to confirm the original state of CCFs:

1. Speed Control - Speed Control is fitted
2. Adaptive Speed Control ECU - Undefined
3. Adaptive Speed Control ECU - Standard blockage level -40dB (this one I recall was already at this configuration and I didn't have to change it)
4. Standard Speed Control Display Type - Standard speed control full display
5. Speed Control - Standard speed control.
6. Speed Control - Speed Control
7. Forward Collision Warning - Without forward collision warning
8. Adaptive Cruise Control Indication in Instrument Cluster - Disabled

I'm hoping to go back to original CCFs, install the Switchpack (which so far seems to be not the source of faults as the faults persist even after i install old switchpack), and then try altering the CCFs again hoping to reach the Calibration stage.

to be on safe side check if you got following option:
Menu--ECU Flash--As Built CCF

this would reflash the vehicle to CCF vonf as configured in factory (took about 2 min on mine when was troubleshooting blody infotainmnet)

(bear in mind if you had something installed you would have to re-add those options back to get em working again)

I've just had a look at mine which is just the standard cruise control and you've got a lot of stuff there that I don't have. All I've got that looks relevant is:

BCM - Cruise Control - Current: Fitted
Cruise Control Display - Current: Standard speed control full display plus priority messages
JAG Cruise Control - Current: Normal
IPC - CC KPH off-set - Current: +2.0kph
CC Speed Scaling factor - Current:3.5%

Am I not looking in the right place or do I need to get something enabled?
