Yesterday, I lugged some Acro props back to the hire centre, whilst towing my small trailer & then onto the tip. Came back & loaded about 3/4 of a ton(tonne?) of rubble/plaster in bags in the back of the Disco & about another ton of bricks in the trailer (600KG trailer ) to say there was little room for suspension movement is an exageration!
Still, a gentle drive to the tip & unloaded all by hand all with no problem (except aching back, legs, arms, hands..... this office work doesn't prepare you for hard building labour...... )
Back home & a quick once over with some snow foam & a sheepskin over the outside & then off to the Midlands meet Bodsys Brake Bible
Apny, am I reading this correctly, yours is a 2006 and it's done 10,000 miles, I only picked mine up in December and have done just over 9,000 I'm not as good as I once was........but I'm as good once as I ever was.

Hobgoblin,
Yes that's right. Picked it up in Oct 06, first service in Oct 07 with 7000mls.
I do have 2 cars and work away for 2 week stints, SWMBO has a Ford Maverick for Dogs and general driving.
The D3 is the Towing Vehicle for the familys horses.
I was looking at the possibility of just over 20,000miles after 3 years, with full SH should be a good trade.

Oh yes
Just changed all the brake pads and sensors today ..quite happy with 51500 out of a set of brake pads ..although i could have proberly squeezed another few thousand miles out of the rearG4 Gone ...but not forgotten
Sat there in horror this evening as a Nissan Sunny with an unconscious driver hurtled towards the back of my stationary car at 60 mph, the passenger yanking on the handbrake for all he was worth.
Thankfully a Laguna got in the way at the last moment and saved me having to peel them off of my Diff Guard with a shovel. Called the ambulance out and did all the usual stuff with the police and general first-aidyness before leaving them in the capable hands of Dorset Ambulance service.
Glad I'm off for the next four days. I need the break!I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
