Not directly, thankfully. Our air is difficult to breathe, and traffic towards my office has been terrible due to road closures, but where we are is safe. I am within sight of the Orange County "Santiago" fire, but geographically in a different sort of area.
It's the folks in San Diego that are really hurting. I heard there were 1,300 homes lost there, and over 300,000 evacuations. That's a lot of people!

Wow! Just been looking at some pics. of Stannage. Here's some from LRO http://www.lro.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7...7aa67b4a8d
You're a braver man than me!
Apart from the mudflaps, did you damage any of the underside of the D3?

Brave No -- No choice other than going backwards a long way
I had some good spotters and they told me that the mud flaps were the only parts that touched the rocks. I have yet to clean the cr p off to check for myself. There were two D90's, three Disco series ones, and a Series in the group and the consensus was that the D3 made an easy job of it, we did use a couple of waffle boards to get most trucks and the D3 over one rock.
Major limit on a number of the lanes was the width of the D3, and missed some of these out while the others went and did them.Discovery 3 XS Auto, Stornaway, Active rear diff.

Friday I used my D3 as a meat wagon
I make ABSOLUTELY NO APOLOGIES to any vegetarians who may be viewing this thread.
This was my purchase on Friday night - a WHOLE Lamb butchered to perfection - 48lb for princely sum of £70
