Changed rear springs because they were corroded. And discovered one was actually broken....
Removed all chassis rust and spray painted with rust stabiliser and Dinitrol Car. Matt black paint used on control arms.
I used this needle scaler to remove all of the surface rust and it was a massive time saver
New gas struts on rear tail gate now I don’t have to lift it up just move out of the way as it shoots past my nose 😂😂Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8 what a car

New wheels fitted while I get my other ones refurbished, bonus is they have a lot more tread than my old ones... think I’ll wait until spring before fitting new tyres...
I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Had a suspension fault showing in the dash, upon investigation found that the purple / black wire on the air valve connector had corroded and broken. Put a new pin in the plug and soldering the two ends of wire.
The suspension fairly flies up and down now! Though I now suspect an air leak on the LH rear as it gradually returns to “access height” after a short period.
Next up is to overhaul the front driveshaftsz

I replaced "the plough" with the Mitch Hitch in Australia. Way higher and rated to 3.5 tonne. Not cheap though.Mal
