Looks good, do they re-trim while you wait?Just 'cause you got the power... that don't mean you got the right.

Thanks, it’s a bit more chunky than the original but improves the inside of the car no end. No they re-trim a stock wheel as per your specifications in advance then transfer the switches/airbag on fitting. They do a postal service too.2007 D3 TDV6 XS - GONE

Timing belt and oil pump replacement as I had the original one. Belt had been done by previous owner but never replaced oil pump.

Went to start the D3 today after at least six weeks. Had spare battery, jump leads, voltmeter at the ready but she started at first turn of the key. Love this car as much as I did nearly twelve years ago!

Fixed the driver's arm rest - super happy i stumbled upon a thread here suggesting it's just a loose split pin saved me several tenths of GBP and awaiting shipment of a spare armrest.
Fixed dislodged centre console opening handle - rivet got pulled out rather than broken as feared.
On to seat rails that rock back and forth a few millimetres annoyingly.
Since it's 3rd day of ownership, liking the occasional diy stuff to tidy up - let's see where it brings me

Oil and filters changed and cleaned up the covers in the engine bay.
Also cleaned up and painted the two front undertrays.

Removed stripped down and painted gear knob as paint was worn on mine and at £50 for a new one thought I would have a go at tidying it up.

Learned that the battery is low upon hardwiring aux cable to the wires going to the aux socket (kids kicking it out constantly) as it said low power mode. new exide ea1000 calling it seems
Fixed both front seats' runners rocking by twisting the cable - worked a charm (after an hour of swearing and having to unbolt driver's seat to get the cable back in both ways for starting to work on it in fully forward position). Still satisfied

Ventured down some tracks today, nothing too bad as by myself. Needs a wash now though.
