Yep thought of that..." Hole in the bottom and also used a circular plastic sheet over the top of the wheel, tucking into the pvc cover.."...

Guess what I did today?
And what a result. Pulls like a train again and now little to no hesitation when you pull away. Hoping the mpg will go up as well.

Fitted new top tailgate handle/switch assembly -with lashings of copper grease on screws so that it can be removed more easily in another 100k miles !!
Noticed that new assembly has the orifice for a reversing camera.........I'll keep that quiet and see if girlfriend notices

spent 5 1/2 hours swapping my cat downpipe for a decat downpipe then 5 minutes fitting wind deflectors what is this life, if full of care?

Got round to putting a new battery on, after the alternator fried itself a couple of months ago, and replaced all the locking wheel nuts, think got lucky with one as it was rather corroded!!

Found which one of my front parking sensors is not working, typically an inner one that requires the bumper off job
