oooh, now that is a good question... :-p I have no idea... we started in Bootle and ended in grasmere, basically just followed the tour leader :-p
Some very rocky climbs and descents, one of which claimed the tyre of the D4 that was in our group. He was o road tyres and only had a space saver for a spare what is this life, if full of care?

There are some great lanes in the Lake District but they do have sharp rocks, I got a puncture going over High Tilberthwaite Cheers Ian

Replaced my battery
after getting the HDC suspension fault message at start up
and fault code B1B70-81 local interconnection network bus circuit 2
and more recent starting to get the left side ventilation actuator faults.
battery tester showed battery to be at 65ah.
i purchased a silver yuasa battery from halfords with a friends discount i got it for £85.
starter motor turns the engine over much quicker and after an 80 mile run the D3 is fault free2005 D3 SE Auto

Took the wife and girls up to Hay Bluff to go sledging and then on through the Gospel Pass to Llanthony, great day out in the disco and performed well on Nokian WR SUV3's.
One thing I did notice (my first time in disco in the snow) is that GGS setting in TR turns the hill descent on which was fairly good at controlling slippery slopes but at one point it 'controlled' it a bit too much which induced a bit of a slide on cross slope whereas low range and just let it engine brake I feel would have been better?
All in all a fab day though (especially the pub lunch)

While on a call out to a turbine, I decide a D3 Photoshoot was really what was needed!! Even managed to get the alloy rotation matching
