Drove to a used car garage in it and bought a BMW convertible... Still keeping the LR obviously, but love the way the BMs feel to drive.

Today I underestimated the ceiling height of a local parking garage while in reverse.
Result: Crushed brake light and some deap scratches to the top of the tailgate.
Came back from a site in Banbury on the back of a recovery vehicle after it decided to pour diesel on the floor.
Fuel return pipe decided to come adrift, but sorted by iAuto in 1/2 hour or so.
Was pretty impressed by the breakdown service - phone call to recovery truck rocking up was about 15-20minutes Mark.

Changed the clock spring, cut the exhausts and fitted body kit mufflers, replaced the rear body kit valence as the old one was burned away by exhaust gasses and fitted the bodykit front bumper.
Only thing I can't decide on yet is how to fit new DRL's. The fogs in the bodykit are smaller then the original fogs so the angel eyes won't fit.
Open to suggestions!

Showed him the gift I bought.
It's a 50 inch, curved 288W LED light bar. 24,000 lumens of output.
It's pretty much the width of an Expo roof rack, I have a slight feeling I may have taken things a bit too far...
If I like it, next year I'm going to order a 2nd! In loving memory of FA54WSK.

Treated the old girl to a new full set of Grabber AT2's then replaced the driver side door seal then replaced the knackered rear propshaft as the centre bearing rubber was shot. And finally replace the driver seat base foam as it was so uncomfortable on long journeys, gave the metal base a good clean to get rid of the rust And primed and painted with Hammerite Satin black and fit the seat base back on to the seat and test, Definetly a lot firmer now.
Next on the list is the MoT for December. D3 TDV6 S MY2005

Just got back from meeting Alex from Metal Monster Junk in Keighly with a boot full of doors and a cubby lid. Very nice guy, very helpful, and I had fun playing with their pet wolf while I waited what is this life, if full of care?

Went to watch the Toon beat Liverpool.
Disco great even around town
Driving back from France with a massive turbo air leak
Cruise on set at 70, uphill through Normandy as ESF pops up and no power
Coasted over the the hardish shoulder, bonnet open for a quick look and restarted ok
Not had a chance to really try and fix it as only just made the boat, I know it's not the top or bottom of the long hose or the inward joint of hose 2, so hopefully if it's dry in Blighty I'll be lucky and it's the IC end of hose 2 by the FBH exhaust, failing that it's hose 3 or a split IC Altox GSM FBH controller thread
