Maybe they're expecting everyone to be bent double laughing at the electric tea tray and so will miss the corners with their heads. Whistle Rolling with laughter

depends how tall you are, I'm quite tall and always cracking my head on things (I'm dumb as well Laughing ) so I can relate to this mole hill. 2 or 3 pages on here is getting a bit excessive I guess but its a potential consideration for some which isn't going to get fixed.

What LR need to do is release a D5 LWB sharpish with a big boot and split tailgate -the D5 XL Thumbs Up

How about keeping the D4 in production and calling it the Defender replacement?
Then we'd all be happy....apart from the Deafener boys who prefer sharp edged minilamism. Sort of Shaker 4 x 4 with Amish undertones..

It does also look like when you open it in a car part or garage that is a bit low instead of scuffing the bottom edge you'll end with nice scuff in the middle of the door.

We are all over thinking this, they planned for anyone ever opening that door to put stuff in anyway. Rolling with laughter

That's a G-Wagen isn't? Defender comfort at FFRR prices Rolling with laughter

I have no doubt that a more practical spec'd D4 (cloth seats, satnav etc) at a realistic price would sell like hot cakes without cannibalising sales of Waitrose warrior wagons.

Shocked when did cloth seats become practical when compared to leather? Confused

And I mean the hard wearing leather found in D3. I absolutely get the pleasure of sitting in the finer grade stuff if that is what you want from your vehicle, but for wipe-clean practicality you can't knock the black leather in the D3.
