Ooh goodies! How can I tell if I have one of these heaters? Would it already work or do I have to do something? It's not the top spec so not sure.

All diesel Discos have the heater and these controllers will work with any spec of car, fitting is simple, but if you need, I can obviously fit one for you Thumbs Up

My 2006 was an S spec, I added a whole load of "extras", current D4 is quite low spec, I'm working my way through that slowly too Thumbs Up Altox GSM FBH controller thread

Having just taxed it (cheaper than I thought it was going to be) I might have some PayPal funds tucked away from the wife. I'm not bad with car electrics so might be able to do it myself? But I've never taken a car like this apart. Is it a big job? Maybe better to get it fitted before I set it on fire!
How much am I looking at?

Ok, thanks. Looks a bit fiddly but that's me just being a bit scared of the new car perhaps.
How much is the bit I'd need to fit?
How much would you charge to fit and lastly, what else should I do in the coming months? Seems to drive well enough and looks well looked after if a little high on 133,000 miles.
