Prototype Altox D4 lead fitted today, making installation in a D4 a few minutes of a job
The lead has an Altox plug at one end and the correct plug for the D4 loom at the other, the 3 other wires from the Altox are there as loose leads for addition of the button / tell light and temperature sensor
Of course you need to have the timed climates actived in the CCF, but if you have IID, that's simple, if not and I can't get yo you, I can point you in the direction of a fellow forum sponsor in your area that for a reasonable fee can activate it for you, there's a great geographic network so most people should be covered
Many thanks to Martin, hopefully these will be in the shop very soon, hopefully with an additional earth lead to allow easier addition of the Altox extras, internal temp sensor etc Altox GSM FBH controller thread

On a D4 does the additional temperature sensor do anything or is it for monitoring only
It really depends how you use the Altox unit, the internal sensor is there so you can use the controller to run until a set (used defined) temperature (LTEMP3) and then switch off, if used this way then yes it willAltox GSM FBH controller thread

Yes in the box you get the Altox unit, the wired plug, instant start button which is also a light that illuminates to show its running and the temperature sensor all as standard along with a pin for the FBH plug, I have also included an inline fuse holder and 1Amp fuse
Could perhaps include one of martins looms once they're available for D4 owners too

In the meantime we are waiting the cable will be available in the forum shop, the Altox installation for the D4 is very easy and 99% plug & play:
1. if you have the Webasto remote (T90 or T91) installed
Using the Y cable Webasto P/N 1319873A (NOT CHEAPER!!!) using the T91 Remote receiver connector C2046 (Fused +12V Batt. [pin 1], GND [pin 6] and W-BUS wires [pin 2]).
2. if you haven't the Webasto remote (T90 or T91)
Using the C2046 connector to connect directly the Altox system
EDIT: also Webasto P/N 9010325B
Fixed the Altox ECU closer to the plastic door of the rear cover, so it is in place closer to the T91 in a dry place (and easy to remove the SIM)
Allows for simple addition of the Unit in a D4, and should you want to (I guess for areas of no signal) keep the LR kit too Altox GSM FBH controller thread
