Which cross bars to fit bike carrier to G4 Expedition Rack?
Hello,
I'm trying to find a way to fit a Thule 591 Proride bike carrier to my G4 roof rack. My G4 rack has two cross bars fitted, although I'm not actually sure if these are accessory crossbars that I can fit carriers to. This is my car:
I'm also concerned they are too widely spaced to be able to mount a bike carrier to them.
Does anybody know if these are suitable crossbars for a Thule 591? Can I readjust the positioning of the bars?
I use Halfords Roof Bars Type 3. A perfect fit. Unfortunately Halfords have stopped selling them but Gumtree and Ebay still do.

Disco 2 or older Range Rover bars fit
If you could find crossbars from a disco 2 or a older model rangerover they will fit. I managed to find a set from a Disco 2, I think I had to trim the bars a little. They simply clamp on to the rails.
