Austria 2008 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Manual Rimini RedDiscovery 3

Just in case... do you know of a good insurance company which operates also outside UK?
The market here (Austria) is very poor in this area (used car warranty).

That's rich coming from them, they out and out lied about a telephone conversation with an LR dealer (that I subsequently got a recording of) in order to avoid a payout for me. I had to take it to the ombudsman. Eventually I got the disputed amount taken off my renewal. I'm still weary of them based on my experience.

I had a huge problem with WD who tried to dodge a claim for a compressor. Do they have an upper £ value per claim. WW do on their warranties, their cheap complete has a limit of £500.
I have the AA who cover the first £500 but wanted something to cover the crankshaft catastrophe. Most are serious money and still don't give suitable cover for this problem.

Upper claim limit for WD is the value of the vehicle, per claim. Thumbs Up

On another LR forum I was absolutely shot down when suggesting WD, they reckoned that WD where carp and you'd be better off using the AA. Only used them on my last D4 for nine months, but hardly here a bad word on here about them. One RRS owner in particular whinging on that they wouldn't pass his claim for a compresser, think DM outed him, in the end the full story came out, apparently he couldn't provide evidence of having the RRS serviced Rolling Eyes
