Been there and done that. 4 wheel alignment done and wheels balanced 3 times. They road tested mine and said there was no wobble, but there was. I filmed it again and showed it to them. No wriggle room, so vehicle swapped. Thumbs Up

Had a similar problem on my 2015 D4. Turns out after all the bs you went through, it was a sticking universal on the rear drive shaft, try that!

Well I've put it through its paces this weekend and the vibration through the steering is still there as you approach 70mph and the vibration through my feet is there all the time, especially under acceleration. Letter of rejection has now been written and will be sent later this evening. Disappointing and hopefully they will find me a replacement because a refund will be a major hassle.

How did you get on with this?

I noticed a vibration through my seat while doing 70 on a sweeping left motorway bend. First time Id driven it on a motorway.

Also have got steering wheel wobble through acceleration between 50- 75 mph. Braking seems to be fine.

Must admit - had a look round the wheels and notice that all of them have no weights. Car had new tyres all round when I bought it used approved so im hoping getting them balanced will resolve the issue Shocked

To be honest it is considerably better and i hardly notice it now. I've done 1000 miles since I got it and it seems to have settled down. All tyre pressures were off so fixed that, then had specialist 4 wheel alignment (my dealer used a specialist local firm) and balance done. Fixing the pressure made the biggest difference but it seems to have improved through use.

I did try another car thorough the approved used exchange scheme but found the driver seat really uncomfortable so decided to stick with what I had. My family much prefer it too. There is still some vibration but nothing coming through the seat any more and only minor through my feet - hardly notice it. The steering wobble at 70 is also now negligible. I've got slightly uneven wear on my front tyres so when I eventually change them I'm hoping it clears completely.

Remove the rear brake discs. Clear manual brake pads. Lubricate the mechanism. Vibration stop.

Got the wheels balance and did seem to make a difference although haven't extensively tested it 50- 70mph.

Fitter said the wheel balancing were miles out. £20 well spent!

I've just started to get a steering wheel wobble but only at very high speeds, autobahn 80-90 mph.
I have done 23000.00 and is booked in for it's second service in a weeks time.
Is it likely to be something the service may find the cause of ?
If it is still there after the service and no mention of anything then it will be in to my local garage for a wheel balance.

Oh dear ! I've just had my wheels balanced and there was little, if any, corrections needed.
I have now given it a road test and the wobble started at 40mph and continued right up to 70mph.
As I slowed down to stop I could feel the wobble until brought to a full stop Sad
It is booked in for it's 2 year service on the 21st March so am wondering what damage could be done up until then and is it something that will be covered by the guarantee.
