Whilst putting in my new led side indicators, I did a fault scan and it threw up a few.

Not had any warnings on the dash or issues just want to be prepared.

Here are the faults, the hvac ones did show up in September at LR service but the said don't worry!?!?

What i tend to do is email the faults to myself (so I have a copy), and then clear them. If the same faults return, then it's time for a bit more investigation Thumbs Up

B1B01-87 (28 ) Key transponder - Bus signal/message failure

The key problem may be simple, (or it may not). Who knows with these things. I was cleaning up some of the faults just after I bought my wife's LR4. The codes were cleared out, but unbeknownst to me (first big word I have used all week) she had taken the key FOB into the house. I pushed the button to start it when the key was in the house. No big deal just go in the house get the FOB and try again. it started, but a second run on the fault codes gave me a code like the one you reported.

Maybe something, maybe not?

I don't know, just letting you know what happened to me.

Cheers for the response. The key fob fault is the least of my worries. IIRC I had a low key battery warning around the same time. Battery replaced now Thumbs Up

It's the hvac ones that intrigue me as they keep returning. Big Cry

have you tried to run the HVAC stepper motors reset procedure with IIDTool?

May be it's only a position reference error....
