Video not available due to copyright claim?LR Discovery 4 XS pulling an Airstream 532 Caravan also own (since new) a 1996 MGF
Selfish cyclist, but interestingly a taxi does the same thing to the same pedestrian on the other side of the road.
(TBH, glad I don't still cycle in London, as it looks a lot like when, rather than if, one collides with a ped, cyclist or vehicle.)Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

I had one of those Lycra Louts ride into me a few years back while crossing the road between King's and St Pancras stations on one of the pedestrian crossings. I was struggling with a fully loaded pack and two large, heavy tool cases (on rollers). It didn't hurt me as one of the cases took the impact. He had a good dose of gravel rash, which was "improved" by the attentions of some nurses who were also using the crossing at the time. The newness had definitely worn off his front wheel and forks, both of which lost the debate with the tool case they hit...Rob Smith

can be found using all recognised forms of transport, including bicycles, but as a rule they can be found in greater density in London than almost anywhere else in the country.

We are away in Herefordshire & Gloucestershire and in both counties we have come across junctions blocked by groups of cyclists either chatting, refreshment stop or checking the route and one muppet in Stroud weaving in and out of the queue of cars on a narrow road and occasionally using the pavement too!==================================

At risk of being controversial, without access to the cyclist's own vision, I don't feel it warrants unconditional condemnation. There was only one guy coming onto the crossing at the left when he went across, the other chap was passing out of the way, and if the cyclist could clearly see what can be seen in the video then it's quite clear to me that he wasn't going to hit or impair anyone.
On that basis, I don't exactly think it's clever for the guy to make an issue of something that would otherwise pass by without a hitch. Whatever the rules are, I never condemn anyone for using their own judgement when no harm is going to arise at all. What does the law actually matter if the reason for it does not apply? I'll save my anger for actions that really pose a significant risk because IMO this one was potentially negligible in risk if the cyclist was in full awareness.
Of course, he may not have had a clue what he was doing, in which case, yes, he's a complete . Current: Discovery 3 06MY (55 reg) HSE Auto Zambezi Silver Allisport Fast Road Intercooler, V8 Brakes, Silicone IC Hoses, EGRs Blanked, Remapped, De-Cat pipe, FBHIC
