I think 6cm is way too small, too insignificant to be seen on the Disco (IMHO)
10 CM whilst it may appear big in numbers, will be just about right to be able to see it easily and due to the colour, can be 'spotted' easier than craning your neck to see if you can see the disco3.co.uk on the back of the passing (in the other direction) vehicle.
but with these, they can be front or rear mounted & you should spot them a reasonable distance away.

Exactly why these were requested in the first place.
I won't (can't) be ordering two sizes, so it's essential I sort out the correct size
10cm is the same size as a roll of normal sellotape, so it's really not that big. If I get a chance tonight I'll mock something up before it gets dark.
They will be internal cling type vinyl, not adhesive and not reflective.
simkna - all D3 owners should already have tax disc holders 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Just checked my IAM windscreen badge and that has a 8 cm diameter, however there are only 3 large letters on it. I think 10cm would be better for the forum logo so that you can read the name easily.1996 Discovery 1 300TDI ES Biarritz Blue, sold

Good point, I have privacy glass too, however I was thinking that when I order this I'll get one of the existing stickers in orange (are there any refelective ones left Martin?) and replace the dealers name on my spare wheel cover.

These are designed for the FRONT windscreen, and therefore can be cling type vinyl for internal application whether or not you have privacy glass.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

You've had a tough afternoon Martin, why don't you put your feet up & have a cup of tea.....? Bodsys Brake Bible
My two penn'th (or £2-worth) - I think 10cm is slightly too large. Most windscreen discs seem to be no more than 8cm, so I'd go for that. Maybe there's some boring law about the size of windscreen stickers that makes most of them 8cm?

I personally think that an 8cm disc will be lost in the windscreen of a D3 - but I will sort out mockups of both sizes tonight.
And don't worry that an orange sticker will distract you inside the car, they will be printed plain white on the inside.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

The Hobsons Brewery mat that my coffee cup is sitting on is exactly 10cm and I've spent a happy couple of minutes in the sunshine sellotaping it to the inside of the screen. Looks OK - so I'll withdraw my 8cm (ooh err)
