You are mixing up past and future once again DG - as you keep pointing out, the D5 hasn't been released yet, and neither am I saying it won't sell well. By all means, tailor your business to follow nothing but past figures, but some people recognise that designing a car for the future requires a little more than accountancy. Previous sales success doesn't give anyone a white card to bypass basic logic and common sense.

It fits the leisure market, but it's not a leisure brand.
What's more, I think LR underestimate how appealing the "real deal" aspect of the D4 is to plenty of "lifestyle" users alike.
I hadn't thought of it that way, but I completely agree 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as โsecondโ cars ๐

If LR keep dawdling on the defender replacement, then surely someone is going to try get there first. Kia, ssangyong, hell even Dacia. There is a market there waiting to be tapped.
Unfortunately, LR can now dawdle just as long as they like, they've already lost that section of the market. If they do launch a replacement that's anything like the Defender, they'll be starting from scratch.2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

It should be, has it a cordless charge point for mobiles in the car like the new Seat Suv ? Now thats a much better option to have in car than pick your electric own seat and don't charge any where near it .
