Tree sliders / rock protection Group Buy
So,
The Mk3 (or is it 4?) tree sliders from this post http://disco3.co.uk/forum/topic136013.html are now ready for orders. The price on the forum is £210 delivered to most of the UK (usual exceptions for highlands, etc.). This includes a donation to the site and represents a saving of £70 on the Ebay price.
If you read through the linked article, you will see my review comments towards the end. IMHO, at £210 they are very good value.

When you say 'cash price', i'm assuming you don't mean a pile of £10 notes?
If the manufacturer is Vat registered he will have to include Vat within that price. Is he Vat registered and will he issue an invoice?
Sorry if you think i'm asking a silly question.

I'm only dropping this group buy on for members, I have nothing to do with the actual business and will not benefit from it personally. I originally offered to go and see the manufacturer as I was nearby and he needed a D3 to check his prototypes on.

Just had an email from Carl. In order to hit the £210 delivered price, we need a minimum of 20 sets. This is different to the info that he originally gave me.

Following my email from Carl, it appears Vat will be charged to the £210 if you want to pay by card, cheque or transfer.
Still good value though.

I have agreed a deal with the manufacturer that I buy 10 sets from him when we have enough orders. This keeps the price at £210 inc delivery and forum donation. I am not VAT registered, so that's the price you will pay. It also means that there are only 10 sets available.
At £210 these are excellent value in my opinion.There are two rules for success,
