No, you can leave the original seals, but there will be a 5-10mm gap under the door. These seals aren't part of the waterproofing, that is provided by the ones around the due of the door itself There are two rules for success,

Ok everyone, I shall contract the manufacturer and post back on here.
Terms will be:
£50 deposit will secure your order. This will be non-refundable if you change your mind. If there are any problems on the supply side, I will, of course, refund your deposit.
Once I have a delivery date, it's balance to be paid before dispatch.
Let me check the delivery date and I will PM everyone with the details.
If anyone else wants to buy, post on here and I'll run a reserve list in case someone pulls out. There are two rules for success,
1. Never tell everything you know.

I'm just waiting for a couple of replies about shipping to members who live in areas not covered by the £20 sipping fee. I have one answer already. There are two rules for success,

Thanks Steven.
All orders are now deposit paid. I will work out what the balance is for each person and PM it over tomorrow. At that time I will also confirm your delivery address.
For those with an address in England or Scotland, I should be able to get the sliders sent reasonably quickly. Everyone else, I will do my best to get them out to you ASAP.

So whats the consensus on removing the original little plastic fastners when taking the plastic sill protector off before fitting the sliders.
Is it best to just take the heads off with some snips (would provide a bit of seperation to the sill paintwork along with the rubber bungs).
or
Remove them completely and tape over the holes but leave the bungs in.
I thought about maybe just taking the heads off - whats everyones view (i've not fitted these types of sliders before so just wonder whats best).
Cheers,
Mike.
