Bare in mind temperature has an affect on AdBlue, Freezes at -11 and evaporates quickly in warmer temperatures. So though you may not do a lot of miles you will still lose AdBlue.
Freezes @ -11...the manual mentions that the DEF may freeze in the reservoir below -10 making it hard to refill.
So you can't use the vehicle if it got really cold?? Communication is the breakfast of champions...

There's heater of some sort that warms the AdBlue I think, someone will come along with the exact ins and outs of it. But they're perfectly usable in cold weather 23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

After getting the car back after being told air lock in the amble system and it not done a 1000 miles went out in today done the some thing but it has done a 1050 miles know i think it time for a replace meant ??
Just had the DEF update done on ours today, so no more cringing at every startup half expecting to see the "engine won't start after 150miles" message. LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Most of the trucks rely on the ambient heat from the silencer to keep the adblue tank from freezing, the ones with remote tank have engine coolant circulating to do the same job, iirc when the temp drops to low the vehicle obviously knows this and shuts down the adblue system.

So far can't fault my AdBlue system.

Mine's working well too, although it's cost's costing me an extra 5 litres / £5.50 in AdBlue every 15,000 miles, over and above what Land Rover specify - hardly the end of the world though! 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as “second” cars 🙄
