Bought a set of 20" FFRR Supercharged wheels today and fitted them. But the front caliper touches the wheel?! Any suggestions? I've seen this combination on photos, so it should be possible?
Thanks

Have bought some RRS style 3 alloys, I have put a picture in my gallery. These are 20x9.5J. I am yet to buy tyres as I am still not sure on size. I would like to go for 295/45 but there was a chassis modification I believe in 2007 that means these may rub. My car was first registered in March 2007.
Does anyone know please at what point the chassis mod was done and if it will affect my car?
Thanks
Tim

wheels will go straight on, but the add doesnt give the tyre spec, so maybe RRS spec, so not weight rated high enough - contact the seller and ask for the tyre spec

are you sure he said 245/45x20, and not 275/45x20. If they are 275/45x20's, then these are fine size wise, but he hasnt given you the weight rating. Most 275/45x20 are rated at 110, which is just below the D3 spec at 111, but 110's are being run by quite a few folks and are fine.
Get the weight rating as well.

These new 19" FFRR wheels will fit
[as spotted by CFB]
bought these after seeing them here but front ones dont fit, they are rubbing on the calippers. what spacers do i ned to fit and do i fit them on the front only?
Sorry if I'm being thick but I can't find a reply to this question... does anyone know if they can be made to fit? I've been offered some at a good price but need to know I could fit them to my D3
I also bought a set of these after seeing the post on page 7 that says they will fit and as the guys above, they catch on the caliper on my MY05 D3. Did anyone ever manage to fit these and if so could you advise which size spacers you used, and where you got them from? Many thanks.D3 TDV6 HSE 2008 Buckingham Blue (current)

I seem to recall it only a 3mm spacer thats needed. Just try Halfrauds for a universal 5 bolt spacer.

Thanks Al. I went in last night and plumped for a 5mm in the absence of knowledge but I think you are right as the 5mm gives more than enough space, plus I can only get 7 full turns on the wheel nut, compared to the usual 10. The spacers actually state a minimum of 9 full turns so I bet if I change down to a 3mm as you suggest then I'll get the 9 turns required. Thanks again D3 TDV6 HSE 2008 Buckingham Blue (current)

I have just tried to fit rangerover westminster wheels to my brother in laws disco3 and the spokes foul the caliper, does any one know what size spacers would be required, they are the wheels pictured in the first post on this thread and thought it meant they would go straight on,hopefully not bent them as I thought the tightness going on was caused by excess paint on the spigot!

I have found out by trial and error that the westminster wheels need 5mm spacers to clear the caliper on a 56 plate disco se,is it possible to get longer studs for the front hub, thanks in advance.

Further to the last two posts I have just been onto the company that supplied the westminster wheels and they said that the wheels should be centered/supported by the centre of the hub which by fitting the 5mm spacers they are not, so maybe this wheel should be put into the section for wheels that will not fit, looks like an expensive lesson!
