They sound really good. I should get some for mine really with the kids and their chocolate and sweets
My dog goes in a cage in the boot. He’s a sod in the car. He gets so exited he jumps around everywhere.
Mot booked again for 13:30.
Let’s get these brakes sorted Jarrod

Mine have always stayed on the middle seats but quite understand if a dog is excitable in a vehicle of being secured
My bichon sometimes wants to come and lay in the front seat , harness just clip into the seat belts so always remain secure
Does amaze me when I see people allowing there dogs to sit on the laps whilst driving , along with the driver virtually being on top of there steering wheel, dread to think what would happen if the airbag went off
That’s great and will finish it off nicely getting the mot , can’t see there being any issues

Well the brake bleeding isn’t going too well to be honest. We’ve used 5 litres and bled the old fashion way with engine running and with the iid.
Something just cropped up in my brain...
When the iid says “front right” is that sitting in the drivers seat or looking at the car from the front ???Jarrod

Indeed drivers seat
Have u tried bleeding the abs unit with the engine off
Say start off with the old fashioned way with jar and tube then done the abs bleeding after with engine off ??
Or have u got a hand vacuum pump , don’t know if u can crack open the pipes on the abs unit, push down on the pedal and then do it back up ??
Maybe one of the more experienced members can help u further

Hiya mate. That’s a distinct option.
I’ve got it a bit better but it’s still awful on first push. If you pump it they are there. Can’t really do more now as the mot is looming so i’ll Carry on after it.
She’s all dressed and ready to go...

The guys in the garage suggested putting a pressure system on it and trying a bleed and then if that doesn’t work cracking each fitting in turn on the abs unit.
I feel like it’s gotten a bit better but that might just be me.Jarrod

Obviously an easy job with the body off. Would you say it’s a tricky job to do if the body was on?

Disco Mikey has done a guide on it. It doesn’t look too bad.
Well as is usually my luck....
held a vacuum no problem. YES !
Went to put gas in, started leaking on the joint by the battery box. Didn’t tighten the one bolt up did I.
In all fairness though the lads at the air con place let me use their tools, 5 minutes work and it was sorted.
I’m now colder than a polar bears cold bits !
What an up and down week !

Yah, happy days
So just the brakes , now, Thats was I was thinking if it would work cracking the nuts in the abs unit one by one and then using a vacuum hand pump on the rest
Also great the ac is now up and running
What’s left to do now
