All going according to plan mate. Finished putting all the bits back on, basic bled the brakes. Going to iid bleed next and bleed the coolant, booked for a 4pm mot so it’s going to be close.
Hope all is well and sailed through the mot

I’m praying it’s what I just wrote on there. Found corrosion in the tccm plugs. Fingers crossed. Going to leave the battery charge overnight and see what’s going on tomorrow. This abs bleeding thing is worrying me.
How’s things with you mate ? Enjoying your mot’d disco ? lucky f er Jarrod

Hi buddy
Indeed what a sod with urs, looks like it’s having one final tantrum
But ur soon have it sorted out and motd
Pops came over and we done an engine oil and filter , what a sod it was to get the filter casing back on but finally got there , fitted a genuine oil filter
Before I had a very slight rattle when I started the engine up, since doing the oil change it’s gone , bought mannol 5/30 fully synthetic oil , previous oil a local garage done it about 14 x months ago so don’t know what they used
Also sounds quieter , but that might just be me
Please of course let me know if I can look anything up for u, have put some links on ur other thread with 2nd transfer ecus to save u some time

Hiya mate, yes indeed ! I ordered the one you sent me a link to, sorry to say it was really easy to fit but I think that was because the body was off and it was right in front of me. Iirc 2x 8mm (head) bolts one up one the left one on the right, it was filled with air/nitrogen/co2 not sure which as when I undid the bung and heard hissing I backed off. Jarrod

I think you would have to remove the fan and cowling etc, pull the pins on the rad and pull it back to allow it to slide out. Disco Mikey would be the man to ask, he’s done quite a few lately.Jarrod

Found that guide how it’s done, i was just curious what they were like to change
Have got the visciuos spanner’s so that a start
But of course will pressurise the system first before I start replacing anything

I could hear mine hissing but couldn’t find it with ldf, it was gone between the condenser and the main rad, not surprising as it was full of crud.
Regarding brake bleeding... i used the iid bleed brake procedure but it was still poor, is there anything else I should try ?
Hope your having a good day mate. Jarrod

Thks mate , will put some air in and bubble test everything then see where it is
Ref bleeding ur brakes, are u doing them the old fashioned way plse, I just filled a jar with some fluid to ensure the tube was in the brake fluid and my dad just bled the brakes whilst I undone the calipers
Replaced all the fluid and think I used just over 3 x litres
Sequence wise I bled them, rear left, rear right , front left, front right , that’s as u sit in the landy
Have u also had the servo adaption done plse , enclosed a pic to show u what the pipes should look like , I also fitted the modified front diff breather and extended the pipe, u can see the elbow near the master cyl
Think U can use the iid with the engine on or off for the abs unit
Hope that’s help mate

Hiya buddy,
Yes my vac pipes look the same as yours. I’m going to bleed them again and again until they are right. As of the test drive earlier they are utter crap.
In other news...
My decat downpipe is here waiting for the mot after party.
A massive heavy box turned up from af today with a v8 rear brake upgrade kit and full epb shoe set and fittings.
While I was waiting for dad today I changed the transfer box fluid which was dark but not the worst. The rear diff fluid was minging. Lots of silvery tint but no chunks so I’m quite happy with it. Haven’t done the front yet.

Hi mate
Wonder as the landy has been standing if water has got into the brake fluid and as u say if u bleed them out all the old fluid will come out
Great that ur now onto the service items
Know when I changed my engine oil that was rank, still got to do all the other fluids
See the front and rear diffs need the oil measuring so was going to measure it out and have a hand pump that screws on top of the new oil bottles, so can easily pour the measured quantity in there and then inject it into the diffs
I’m also going to get the transfer case software update , suppose to stop the take up when u slow down and speed up again of that feeling like a loose uj on the prop, or another name California stop
