Your an absolute guru mate. I knew I’d seen a post somewhere that detailed fitting. Ok so there are spacers. No biggie. Just need to find out a thickness and I can make a set easy.

In other news.... ordered a new condenser because mine has holes all along the bottom ! And also ordered that fan you sent me a link to. This is getting out of hand now. Laughing

Rolling with laughter Thumbs Up

Looks like it’s very common for the condenser to fail, looking around I think there around £90 and also comes with a new dryer Thumbs Up

I ordered the one you gave a link to a few pages back Thumbs Up

Well what an eventful day I’ve just had.

If anyone’s seen the post I put up earlier about oil pump.
Stripped the front of the engine to find.... a new full timing belt kit and oil pump. Shocked on inspection it is a genuine fomoco pump too. Whilst it was apart I checked the timing with the 3 pins... spot on.
https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/urgent-oil-...73674.html
Decided to replace the water pump as I was in there to find... that was new too. Just looked a bit grotty from the outside.
The moral of this story ladies and gentlemen. Never buy a car when the dealer says “we’ll forward the service history” and then claims they can’t find it after you’ve paid. In short it means I have no idea what’s been done hence why I’ve gone so into it. As noted earlier the upper arms had been done at some point because the bolts were all copperslipped. Hey ho.
Last jobs remaining now before body refit are the brake lines which I’ve now got but land rover in their fantastic packaging only had 1 service joint. Rolling Eyes and the other job... the air con pipe o rings. Which will be with me tomorrow. The condenser will have to be done with the body back on. As will the alisport intercooler when it arrives. I’ll upload some pics once I’ve had a shower. Thumbs Up oh and a beer. Or three.
