Another thing I thought of is I’ve got a bag of new incandescent that I was going to use on my suspension compressor but bought a new one
Ive seen setups where they have used a dessicsant in the water trap, should be OK if you have a filter in there as well

Hi Indy
Found a few on eBay with the desiccant , it has a small filter also inside the water trap so in theory shouldn’t be able to enter the hose
Am wondering if getting a tea bag like construction to put them in first as a double insurance
At least then it’s an extra boot and braces in keeping the air dry , alas will also keep the air compressor out of the sun to stop it sweating
Unless the water trap and built in filter would be suffice

I managed to ‘liberate’ a festo multivalve unit. It’s got some sort of water filter unit on one side and an oiler on the other. I’ll do like you’ve done mate and test with air, I think the risk of water into the system is negligible in my opinion.Jarrod

Cheers and very useful
Does indeed also have a paper filter inside so should keep the air fairly dry and will put a vacuum pump on it after

Not a problem. Took pics today for you. I’ll do pics of aircon pipes now also. Apologies if they are not in order.

Not a problem at all mate.
Does anyone know if the alisport fast road intercooler needs a spacer or something ? I’ve managed to bag myself one but I thought I’d read somewhere about a spacer being needed ?? Jarrod

Your an absolute guru mate. I knew I’d seen a post somewhere that detailed fitting. Ok so there are spacers. No biggie. Just need to find out a thickness and I can make a set easy.
In other news.... ordered a new condenser because mine has holes all along the bottom ! And also ordered that fan you sent me a link to. This is getting out of hand now. Jarrod

And tonight’s stupid question....
My mechatronic sleeve is leaking. I have a new sleeve and metal sump kit from advanced factors, could someone tell me how much oil will be need to be replaced ? Once the car is up and running i’ll Be taking a trip down to woody32 for a trans flush. There is a dirty rumour going around he may well be doing a remap too. Jarrod

Looks like it’s very common for the condenser to fail, looking around I think there around £90 and also comes with a new dryer
