Gary, you are hereby promoted to guru status.
Thankyou for all that. I’ll have a measure in the morning. I may even order the kit you have. Just in case you understand... dad will be happy. He has a “thing” (don’t ask) for kits in blow moulded cases. We literally have a metal cupboard in the garage packed with them. Jarrod

always think if it makes someone elses life easier then it’s a good day
Karma and all that
When I done the top hub bush I thought that’s never going to move , after the initial crack to get it going came out like a charm , made it so much easier , I just put some coppaslip into the hub casing before pressing the new bearing in
I found the correct sized sleeves, then done up the nuts on the rod to just ensure they were at the right spot on both sides , spanner one side and deep socket the other
Spin a nut up to one end of the threaded bar , in order u can get ur socket on ok and is deep enough by the time u tighten it up for the length of the bush to be extracted without having to remove the rod and move it
Apologises I’m making it sound like ur a newbie to this
Ur dad will have a melt down then when he sees the kit, plus it’s heavy
