They are quite handy ! Those breathers I was on about are 2 aluminium pipes running up the back of the engine by the looks. Good job I haven’t done any wading yet !Jarrod

Well here she is. We decided on one expansion joint for movement etc but then because it’s solid and far stronger it doesn’t need the centre brackets to the bell housing.
And wrapped with a double layer of exhaust wrap.

And fitted.
Just removed the turbo to do the fixings mod that I was going to do the other day. Surprised to find they are metal to metal with no gasket. Also while I’m at it the actuator arm is a bit stiff so sent dad out to find some penetrating fluid that has graphite in it. go to do one job, find another 2.Jarrod

Thanks mate. Couldn’t find any in the local places. Motor factors, halfrauds, hydraulic places, screwdix etc. No one. Jarrod

And have stopped counting how much I've spent at Bearmach in Caerphilly over the last few years, it's only money but on the plus side I get the bits through a mate and he gets discount and free delivery

Hi Indy, I wouldn’t attempt half the jobs with the body on ! Some of them are a nightmare with the body off ! Bearmach are very handy but I find a lot of the tdv6 parts are genuine and then not in stock. Plus ADvanced factors (site sponsor) make things far easier by grouping parts in kits and even though I get a good discount from 2 of the lads I know in parts af regularly beat them on price. Good to meet a fellow local ! If I can offer a hand give me a shout. Jarrod

Only just realised you’d posted this. Good shout that ! I already had a shed load of breather sized fittings so i’ll Extend the breathers. Waiting for some heat sleeve for them to arrive. Jarrod
