Ok so what a day I’ve had....
Changed rear anti roll bar bushes. Easy enough.
Replaced rear upper arms. Sorry gstuart I know this will be painful but it was a 15 minute job and that was for both sides... all the bolts were copper slipped. What worries me is that one side bush appears to be different to the other. Pics to follow.
Been looking at the crossover pipe that I had re made. Took it off the “wynjig mk1” and heard a rattle. Not good. Having chopped the flex joints off another one I’ve got I’ve realised that there’s a reason these things are so expensive. There is a lot going on for such a short pipe. The long and short of it is that the pipe is twin walled for a start and that it has cone shaped pieces inside to guide exhaust flow. The “flexy” is actually made in layers like an onion. I’ve abandoned the first one and am taking the next one to a well known aftermarket stainless exhaust manufacturer to replace the joints.
How very dare u get them off in 15 x mins , i ask u , Paaaahhhh
Even a picture of taking a bolt out by hand
I’m off to sulk in the corner , now where did I leave that voodoo doll , mumble mumble , I’ll bloody teach him, 15 bloody minutes

It’s ok mate. She’s fighting me tooth and nail on some other jobs ! This poxy cross over pipe mainly.
Also. Don’t suppose you might have come across any info regarding the epb unit such as does it need maintenance of any kind. Does the unit need stripping cleaning lubricating etc ? I can’t seem to find much info on it. Just thought I’d ask as your the search guru and I’d rather do it with the body off than find out after that I should have.
Did I mention my back brakes are well worn out ! Another job to do.Jarrod

Been down to Longlife exhausts today with the crossover pipe and wynjig, after a discussion we thing that making a complete new crossover is the way forward. I’ll be sure to write up how it gets on when I have the call to say it’s done.Jarrod

What that video has shown is that I have some heat shields missing I wish someone could do close up photos all around the engine of how it should look. Jarrod
