I want a LH too, if only just to match the blackness of my new RH one

I only changed the driver's side (RH) with the 9.99 one from Matford, totally silent wipers now after two years of trying

Got my arm pulling tool this week & car is sitting ready to fit the new arm. However said arm is sitting several hundred miles away as forgot to put it in the car.

You may as well order another one for the price. I did, it arrives in a couple of days
I wonder if there's much difference between the RH and the LH

That thought did cross my mind but I'm saving my pennies for a new head torch (LL H7R.2) and a new torch for the car (LL P7). Can put up with the noisy wipers for a while longer.

This may help someone... I also had knocking wipers during rain. All i did was swap the actual wiper blades around and it cured the problem. (did not change the arms)

Me too. I bought an arm having read about the problems on here. The dealer changed my blades whilst in for a service and the wipers are now silent. Arm now in shed redundant...

Sometimes changing the blades will cure it, not always though. As the arm ages the spring that applies pressure to the screen weakens and causes the knock as the direction of travel changes, in these cases only a new arm will do

A new screen sorted my issue.
I had changed the blade previously (6 months ago) but the noise came back. I then bought an arm, but the screen got replaced in the period between buying and getting round to fit it.
I now have a spare arm
