2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 Base 7 Seat Manual Buckingham Blue

Oil leak ideas needed

Hi All

I have an Indy going to have a look at this next week but I have oil coming down the back of the engine which after a bit of driving gives noticeable waftes of oil smoke once stationary.

Any ideas of just how bad/expensive this is going to be?

Not noticed any drop off in performance or noise. Disco 3 2.7 TDV6 55 Buckingham Blue Base
15% tints / Group Buy Stainless Steel Sill Plates / Trillogy B144 tailpipes / Stupidly Large Steel Bull Bar 8)
EGR Blanking plates / Side Steps / Very Big LR roof Box / BAS remap

New AC condensor / New Clutch & DM Flywheel / New Air Compressor, pipe set & Relay/another new clutch plate thanks to SWMBO/ new cross over pipe (without the body coming off)

Suzuki GSX1400 - its all torque! 8)

About 9 months ago.

It's a 2005 with 108k Disco 3 2.7 TDV6 55 Buckingham Blue Base
15% tints / Group Buy Stainless Steel Sill Plates / Trillogy B144 tailpipes / Stupidly Large Steel Bull Bar 8)
EGR Blanking plates / Side Steps / Very Big LR roof Box / BAS remap

New AC condensor / New Clutch & DM Flywheel / New Air Compressor, pipe set & Relay/another new clutch plate thanks to SWMBO/ new cross over pipe (without the body coming off)

Suzuki GSX1400 - its all torque! 8)

Which side of the engine is it coming from?

Could be
a split oil filter seal
Possible leak around the Vacuum Pump
Oil cooler seal

is there any oil in the centre of the V? Vehicles

No oil in the V, oil at the bulk head but doesn't seem to lose much oil. Had the clutch done a civil,e of weeks ago and they said the whole area at the back of the engine was covered I oil.

Not seeing any puddles in the floor either.

Could be oil feed pipe to the turbo or could be a rear camshaft oil seal. More info/photos needed, ideally.

I am only going by the feedback from the guy who did the clutch and more importantly the smoke so no photos.
