I went through the same kind of thing, in the first week had a free health check at Land Rover, was told over £3k to sort the issues it had (before current transmission issues). I have a feeling the previous owner hid the torque converter issue with some quick fixes, and maybe porkies about the diff (said it was wheel bearings). That's the risk with buying private, sucks majorly, and not really any come back. Hope you manage to sort yours quickly and cheaply and get to enjoy the car.

Where have i heard that story before ? O yeah me ! Whistle Good luck with it fella.

New fuel rail
New switch
New fuel filter
Drove fine....
Then bang engine light back on - drives ok slow speed without much demand on engine so accelerate fast bang it comes on pull over turn off turn back on all fine so next job is the tank pump
Has to be fuel related has to be the tank pump....

I would be checking the output from the low pressure pump before replacing it - you can place a combination gauge on the fuel feed line where the schrader valve is on top of the engine (bleed valve). With the ignition on, pressure should be about 6-8psi for a healthy pump.

The yellow park brake warning can usually be fixed by cleaning and re-adjusting the park brake shoes.

Completly and utterly solid with debris and also growths from the Bio in the Diesel!!
