Air suspension noise
Hi guys
Been test driving a few disco3 s ,quick question:
When you raise the suspension up and down between the 3 settings should there be an audible "psssst" sound ,like lorry air brakes , or should it be silent ??

I used to hear that noise with my hitachi compressor when self levelling. With my amk it's more of an electrical noise. But all normal

The pssst noise does go through a baffle but it is still noticeable. The one just after you have parked is affectionately known as the D3 fart.

I don't think I get a fart when it rises. Lynhay, whereabouts in Sussex are you. I am in Lindfield if you want to compare or discuss.2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.

Hi Barnie ,I'm in worthing thanks. The one I saw today and liked was silent going up and down but one the other day very loud.
