Hi Mark,
Yes - heat gun available any time Let me know when you'll be over.
Hoping to be at Buxton. Was tempted to buy the Jet tent that is for sale on here. SWMBO reckons we don't need expensive camping equipment!

I've never done it Mark, I'm sure you'll be fine. Somethings got to go well for you sooner or later, with all your bad luck recently hopefully this'll be the turning point
Car now in garage for new front diff fitting. I do hope this cures it This now brings my spending on the car from when I bought it in July ( including things it did,nt need such as Led rear lights, front grill, rear load mat, rubber car mats and BAS remap) although its much better with these O and cover plate ( car reg is now M50 HSE) So total including gearbox recon new front diff, rear prop and other bits and bats to a shade over £4500 plus price of car (£8000) £12500. Just a question If I had just saved up £12500 what D3 could I have bought ?

Haha, I think ours were built at the same time!
Since Oct last year it's had rear diff, rear propshaft, rear upper suspension, front pads & discs, new tyres and alignment. Had the judder, new metal auto sump with dr tranny tried but soon back juddering. Also bought the rest of the arms and bolts, track rod ends, bolts, bushes etc to be fitted before I found out what else was failing (all sat under the bed at the moment)...
- Injector readings indicating they need sorting
- TC and autobox
- front diff just started vibrating and needs replacing
- passenger mirror mind of its own
- windscreen could do with rebonding/replacing
- brake pipes advisory
No idea what was done on the cambelt change a few years back so if having the above done I'd get the belts done again along with fuel pump (paranoia!!).
So £8.7k, plus about £3k so far, plus another 5-6k possibly?? Soon into D4 territory, plus the way things are going the turbo or engine is bound to go if I have the above done lol
