I have taken my LR3 with the 265/60 BF Goodrich's just about everywhere and they do not disappoint.

South Africa 2011 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 SE Auto Fuji WhiteDiscovery 4

Got a bargain on a slightly-used set of Hankooks today, and drove around 100km.

Not as noisy as I expected and the slight steering wheel judder is now gone, so there was probably a flat spot on the previous tyres.

I haven't done wheel alignment yet, but the trok tracks straight on the highway with no steering input.

I really liked the look of the ATR's, but apparently they're not M&S or 3 Peaks? Is that right? Different tyre sellers tell you different things...

M&S from memory it's M&S (it's +1.7c outside so not keen on going out) but not 3 peaks. Used mine for Highland winters since 2012 and had no problem, as long as I drove to the conditions then no problems. Thumbs Up

I've also noticed 2 different speed ratings, T and H. Mainly T's available. Is this a newer version (with several manufacturers lowering their ratings recently (cheaper to conform?))?

Yes, T replaced H rating, forgot about that. Embarassed Got a letter from my insurer (NFU) that this wasn't a problem but have a full set of new H rated ATRs ready to go in once worn set is finished. Thumbs Up

Cheers DSL.

Any ideas of a decent price for H's? I can get T's delivered for £114 each, then pay £20 fitting per corner ( Confused ), but wondered if I can get H's for similar?!

Mine have M+S marking, but no 3 peaks.
They don't have the snipes normally found on winter tyres.

But they did okay in the snow for me.

I don't think you can get H ATRs unless old stock. My last 2 came from Italy at £78 each but that was clearance.

Not sure why but could only find T rated on oponeo. Might be worth checking with your insurer to see if they are happy with those. Thumbs Up

I've found at least two companies selling 18" H's. Are they likely to be tyres that've been stored, then?
