Can you get away with ATRs on one axle and Zeros on the other to avoid up grading all 4 tyres in one go?

Some would say it's a cardinal sin, it wouldn't worry me for road use. As long as you're sensible.

SUBJECT TO THE OPINION OF SOMEONE THAT IS SOBER I'd put whichever has the best tread on the back. Too many Caribs (with lime) & Painkillers have been consumed to give a totally confident reply.

It was meant to be a booze free day but 2 Caribs after tricky docking at the marina put paid to that notion.
hmmm, i'm not convinced: most of the weight is on the front axle (due to the engine), plus the fronts need to steer as well.--

Just search Google, plenty of information as to why new tyres should always be fitted on the rear. The reason being that understeer is far easier and safer to control than oversteer. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

wow, I just learnt something new, contrary to what I had always done
I'm going to the tyre shop later to rotate the tyres as the more worn ones are currently on the rear.
Thanks chaps, that's why I hand around here.
