DG, it's a shame we didn't get some footage of you, Snowy & Jase crossing that gulley on the lane on Saturday. It was good to watch

Is Happy Valley ok to do on your own. Never done it before and I'm currently in the area.

Andy, I wouldn't attempt it on my own. From memory I needed a spotter at least a couple of times. No damage, but it was at the edge of my comfort zone in a few places with only a Mantec bash plate for underbody protection.

HV is not one that I would do alone. It is very tight in a D3/4 and there is a slippery narrow section with a steep drop to one side. Its also quite rocky and punctures are common.
Its probably about an hour or so from the north end of SF (Abbey end) to Machynlleth.
