installed battery and reset - all good
except ............
ive just connected up the caravan to check a few things and noticed the fridge wasn't working on 12v.
checked the towing electrics settings on the IIDTool and it was set to the 13 pin option.
I have the 12N and 12S sockets... can someone advise me what the setting should be please, if that is not correct ?
caravan has a reversing light and fog lights and the ATC was engaging correctly

Mine is also set to 13 pin.
I use the right hand (black) 7 pin connector (12N) for the standard trailer connections (South Africa only uses 7 pin).
I tap power for the 12Volt electrics (fridge and spare batteries) from the 12S connector pins 3 (Negative) and 4 (positive).

The CCF setting does not turn the 12v fridge supply on or off so this looks like a regular electrical issue.

My IIDToolBT works great on my car (2012 D4) but won't work on a friends 2011 D4. When plugged in, there are no lights on the unit illuminating at all and it won't be recognised by my iPad. We checked the diagnostics socket fuse and for 12 volts at pin 16 and all seems to be in order. My friend asked another friend to plug in his diagnostics tool (don't know what make it was) and he tells me it worked fine.
Any ideas?

And could you access it using the radio buttons?

Good suggestion to check the basics first. Gave it a couple of wiggles. Things always work better when they are pushed fully in.
Never tried the radio buttons. Didn't get any indication on the screen in front of the steering wheel.

You can update the IPC display to 12MY, but don't think you get the extra info. I believe it only changes the look of the TFTMy D3 Build Thread
