All good here, to start with, plugged in, all working fine, activated it, so far so good, connected to Gap www, downloaded the latest Firmware, all going to plan. That's as far as it goes, I seem to have lost the BT part of the IID Tool, I can no longer connect to the IPad, the IPad knows it is there, but the IID Tool is not talking back. Also now I have the data displayed in Information Panel of the D4, did not notice it displaying there before the Firmware update.

please don't take my comment the wrong way, I wasn't implying anything of the sort, I do appreciate the savings on this new toy.
It was just my own comments upon seeing all my own fault codes and thinking, I suppose Mikey, Flack and Geoff are going to be even busier now! If everyone else's is similar to mine, thus imo it's going to generate further business for you guys.

Ah, mistook your comment
I suspect we may be a little busier mechanically from people diagnosing their own faults. And not quite so busy with software updates, as they can be done without us now...
Hmm, hasn't thought this through very well
Still, it all helps GAP with the development of the tools, and future updates My D3 Build Thread
